Do you know that today, only 3% of young refugee worldwide are enrolled in Higher Education? The UNHCR aims for 15% by 2030. What can we do? What solutions can we propose?
In line with World Refugee Day on the 20th of June, the European Students Union and the Voices of Young Refugees in Europe are joining forces to call for actions to remove the barriers young people with refugee and migrant backgrounds face when it comes to access, participation and success in Higher education.
With the Campaign “Students and Youth in Action for World Refugee Day”, we will propose a series of activities and events throughout the month of June:
1- Students and youth-led local activities supporting the objective of the Campaign, with financial support of up to 500 euros. The Call for local activities is currently open until the 16th of May. More info here.
2- Workshops and conferences organised in June. Stay tuned!
3- We will share key messages online
